The Centre of Expertise for Local Government Reform launches some consultations with local experts and representatives of local authorities on “The pre-feasibility study on Inter-municipal cooperation in Georgia in region Adjaria”. Meetings were held 14-15 November 2016 in Tbilisi in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure and local reprezentatives from Adjara.

These activities aimed at setting up a working group consists of the Council Europe experts and local experts who support the pre-feasebility study in solid waste management in Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Georgia.

The event was organised as a part of the programme "Strengthening institutional frameworks for local governance in the Eastern Partnership countries" under the Programmatic Cooperation Framework (PCF) for 2015-2017 funded by the European Union and co-funded by the Council of Europe.
