Representatives of media outlets included a cross section of journalists ranging from the leading national broadcaster Radio television Serbia, news agencies Beta and Fonet and important national print media like Politika, Danas, Vreme and Newsweek. Additionally influential online portals specialized in investigative journalism like Insider, Pistaljka, Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) and Center for Investigative Journalism of Serbia (CINS) participated along with media outlets serving minority groups, like the minority language media portal “Komsijske novosti” and the Army Veteran magazine. 27 journalists attended the training. Participating journalists received training that has increased their knowledge about media standards and will lead to more professional and ethical reporting.
