The EU/CoE action on Freedom of Expression and Freedom of the media in Kosovo* (JUFREX2) in cooperation with the Academy of Justice and the Bar Association organised a four-day Training of Trainers (ToT) for legal professionals on freedom of expression and freedom of media, from 19-22 October 2021.
Four judges, three prosecutors and five lawyers (9 men and 3 women) were trained and introduced to the concept of adult learning methodology and on the content of Article 10 of European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). The trainees were judges from the Court of Appeals, judges, and prosecutors from the basic level, as well as lawyers from different municipalities.
*This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR 1244 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo Declaration of Independence.
