The Council of Europe organised a two-day study visit to the Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel de France (French High Audio-visual Council) for six staff members of the Audio-visual Coordinator Council of Moldova. The delegation of the Council was invited to take part in this activity, organised in fruitful cooperation with the Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel de France.

The aim of the training was to familiarize the participants with the principles of media pluralism and the principle of equity of candidates. In order to learn the practices associated to these principles, the participants visited the studios of France TV and Radio France.

The event was part of a series of activities that will be developed in the next months’ all over the country aiming at enhancing Central Elections Commission’s communication capacities with electoral stakeholders, judge’s competences to deal with election disputes, increasing voters’ awareness with particular focus on first-time voters and women as well as strengthening the capacities of domestic NGOs to observe elections.
