GLACY+ trainers delivered the Introductory Judicial Training of Trainers’ (ToT) Course on Cybercrime and Electronic Evidence to a group of 24 judges, prosecutors and members of the Federal Ministry of Justice in Nigeria.
The training course included sessions on technology, threats and trends, substantive and procedural provisions, international cooperation, public-private cooperation and also some practical exercises and presentations.
This is the first course provided to Nigerian members of the judiciary, as part of the GLACY+ priority countries. The aim is to train local magistrates in the legal and practical aspects of cybercrime and electronic evidence so that they can become, in their turn, trainers for their national peers.
This activity was organized joining resources with Cybercrime@Octopus project.
