Croatia: Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe presented at the International Tourism Fair PLACE2GO in Zagreb

On 8-10 April, as part of the 9th edition of the International Tourism Fair PLACE2GO in Zagreb, the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia organized the presentation of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe. The programme was represented by Ms. Tatjana Horvatić, Representative of Croatia to the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (EPA) and Head of Movable, Ethnographic and Intangible Cultural Heritage Office at the Ministry of Culture and Media of Croatia.

The national coordinators and members of the Cultural Routes passing through Croatia used the exhibiting venue as an opportunity to present the Cultural Routes and their respective content, activities and promotional material. The topic of Cultural Routes sparked great interest among the visitors and the presentation proved to be an excellent means of promoting cultural heritage as a valuable resource in tourism development.

Croatia is a member of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes (EPA) since 2016, with a total of 14 Cultural Routes passing through the country’s territory today.
