Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland and Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz are in Kiev today for talks about the situation in Ukraine, and in particular eastern Ukraine. Meetings are scheduled with Prime Minister Yatsenyuk and Foreign Minister Deshchytsia, among others. Austria currently holds the Chairmanship of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers.
