Bureau of the EPA Governing Board

On 15-16 February 2018, the Bureau of the Governing Board of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes (EPA)  chaired by Alfredas Jomantas (Lithuania) held its meeting in Luxembourg, at its headquarters at the Abbey of Neumünster. The Bureau discussed the 2017-18 evaluation cycle for the regular evaluation of eight certified Cultural Routes and the evaluation of new candidate for certification.

The eight certified Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe under regular evaluation (cycle 2017-2018) are:

- ATRIUM - Atrium Architecture of Totalitarian Regimes of the 20th Century in Europe's Urban Memory
- European Cemeteries Route
- European Route of Cistercian Abbeys
- Prehistoric Rock Art Trails
- Réseau Art Nouveau Network
- European Route of Historic Thermal Towns
- Route of Saint Olav Ways
- Via Habsburg

The meeting was attended by Alfredas JOMANTAS (Chair of the Bureau of the EPA Governing Board, Lithuania); Karin ZIMMER (Vice-Chair of the Bureau, Austria); Marianne BERGER MARJANOVIC (Bureau Member, Norway); Birgitta RINGBECK (Bureau Member, Germany); Colette FLESCH (EICR, President); Eladio FERNANDEZ-GÁLIANO (Council of Europe DGII, Head of Culture, Nature and Heritage Department); Stefano DOMINIONI (EPA Executive Secretary, EICR Director); Marie SAUTIN (EPA Executive Assistant); Jennifer HERKNER-GAETA (EICR, Project Manager); Didier BELLIA (EICR, Management Assistant).
