Advocacy study session ends with 7 campaign proposals

The study session “Outspoken: Advocacy for Youth Participation” implemented in cooperation with FEMYSO – Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organisations provided training to 30 activists and local leaders to advocate for meaningful youth participation. The activity promoted the Recommendation on Young people’s Access to Rights and the Charter for Youth Participation in local and regional life.

The participants produced 7 advocacy campaigns to address discrimination and challenges that young Muslims face in Europe today, as well as, to raise awareness on specific Human Rights issues. These campaigns will be later on promoted by FEMYSO and the participating organisations. The topics addressed include youth political participation, access to mental health, gender equality and sustainable development.
