Human rights training workshop - „Cube Project”
The European Youth Centre Budapest organised and hosted a creative human rights workshop for 60 students participating in the Embassy’s Raoul Wallenberg „Cube Project”.

Sixty students from two Hungarian high schools, from Székesfehérvár and from Szolnok, have participated in a 1,5-day creative human rights workshop at the EYCB, organised jointly with the Swedish Embassy.

The training workshop was the kick-off event of this year’s „Cube Project”, which is a unique human rights initiative by the Raoul Wallenberg Academy in Sweden. The EYCB hosted and organised the training for the students, who will create their human rights-themed installations in the coming months using as inspiration their experiences from this workshop.

During the workshop the students got an immersive and interactive introduction to human rights and their relevance to their everyday experiences. They also had the opportunity to engage creatively with the various human and children’s rights concepts and start developing their Cube installations.

The workshop was opened by Andreas Attorps, Policy Officer for the Embassy of Sweden and EYCB Deputy Director, Balint Molnar.
