Back CUBE project in 2020

Training workshop in preparation for the Cube Project, a cooperation activity with the Embassy of Sweden
CUBE project in 2020

The training workshop was the kick-off event of this year’s „Cube Project”, which is a unique human rights initiative by the Raoul Wallenberg Academy in Sweden. For the first time in the history of the project, the EYCB hosted and organised the training for the students, who will create their human rights-themed installations in the coming months using as inspiration their experiences from this workshop. During the workshop the students got an immersive and interactive introduction to human rights and their relevance to their everyday experiences. They also had the opportunity to engage creatively with the various human and children’s rights concepts and start developing their Cube installations.

(Modelled after the nationwide Swedish “Cube Project”, initiated by the Raoul Wallenberg Academy in 2014, the cube toolkit aims at increasing young students’ knowledge on human rights by offering creative tools on how to make otherwise abstract concepts such as freedom of expression both significant and comprehensible from an everyday life perspective.)
