EYCA held its XXXIX Conference and General Assembly  from 15 to 18 June 2023, hosted by the Centre for Youth Education in Podgorica, Montenegro. This annual event, brought together members and stakeholders from across Europe to collaborate, exchange ideas, and shape the future of the association.

On 6 May 2021, EYCA announced the launch of the campaign #STANDFORSOMETHING, which it will implement with its member organisations in 16 EU member states until spring 2022. This initiative is funded by the European Parliament and targets a community of 7 million cardholders across Europe.

The aim is to encourage youth participation in the Conference on the Future of Europe and bolster the wider involvement of youth in decision-making. 21 Youth Activists will engage young Europeans in conversations and activities about the Future of Europe.

#STANDFORSOMETHING calls for young people to make a stand and voice their views on the issues that matter to them.

As well as contributing to the official conference platforms, young Europeans can join the conversation through the We #StandForSomething Conversations Facebook group and attend the many events being planned across Europe over the next four months.

A digital special edition of the European Youth Card will be offered to young people, aiming to reach out to non-organised youth and informing them about the Conference on the Future of Europe.
