The Advisory Council and its response to Covid-19

Sensing the possible threats to the Council of Europe's values that may be posed by the current pandemic, the Advisory Council on Youth (CCJ) took steps to mitigate these threats by proposing to the European Steering Committee on Youth (CDEJ) the setting up of a joint working group.

The Advisory Council also issued a statement in which it called on member states to continue to protect young people's human rights, especially those of vulnerable groups, and to promote their democratic participation.
