Sidharth Bhatia is a Mumbai based journalist and writer. He is one of the Founder Editors of The Wire, which is India's most highly regarded news websites. The Wire was founded in 2015 and runs as a not for profit, banking on donations from foundations and individual supporters. Bhatia has lived in worked in India and overseas as a foreign correspondent. He was made a Press Fellow at Wolfson College,  University of Cambridge in 2001. He is the author of several books on cinema and popular culture and is a regular speaker on public platforms.
