The European geopolitics Festival is a three day event (5-6-7 May) on the role of Italy and Europe in world governance. Its stated aim is to bridge the gaps which exist between different worlds and sectors, in order to tackle this complex topic and make it accessible to everyone. The event explores subjects such as diplomacy and international relations; economics and finance; enviroment; cultural heritage and tourism; security; defense and Intelligence; rights; humanitarian defense; NGOs; information and journalism.
On 6 May, the session HUMANITARIAN CRISIS: ITALY IN THE FRONT LINE was attended by Riccardo Clerici, Head of Institutional Relations of UNHCR; Luisella Pavan-Woolfe, Director of the Italian Office of the Council of Europe and Nadir Ruzzon Colonel, Commander 51st Italian Air Force Wing.
