The Faro Convention implementation at the centre of the debate in Naples

At the conference “The Faro Convention implementation. Heritage communities as commons: relationships, participation and well-being in a shared multidisciplinary perspective” scientific contributions were presented on the innovative theoretical-methodological perspectives of initiatives and good practices aimed at promoting the enhancement of cultural heritage, the development of places and communities and the connections of citizens with them, in an interdisciplinary, intercultural and inter-institutional perspective. Scholars and professionals of human relations and housing including psychologists, sociologists, architects, economists, lawyers, geographers, social and cultural managers discussed ways of realizing these principles.

The conference was organised in Naples on 16 and 17 December 2021 by the Community Psychology Lab (Department of Humanistic Studies) of the University Federico II, the Institute for Research on Innovation and Services for Development (IRISS) of the National Research Centre (CNR) and the Venice Office of the Council of Europe, with the Italian Society of Community Psychology (SIPCO), the National Association of Italian Engineers and Architects (ANIAI).
