Finding out more about one of the most fascinating heritage sites in the city of Venice, the Arsenale, and having fun: this is the aim of Arsenalia, a cluster of games created by the Venetian association Venti di Cultura in the framework of a project funded by the Erasmus + program.

Arsenalia includes a board game, titled "The Doge's Secret", an urban game named "Hunt for beads", and a digital game called “Virtual Arsenal Museum”. The Arsenale’s extraordinary heritage of know-how and stories is thus showcased in an intriguing way which creates an active and participatory visitor experience.

Architect Francesco Calzolaio (Venti di Cultura) presented Arsenalia in the Council of Europe’s office in Venice on 15 July, in the presence of those associations and citizens who identify with the Arsenale’s “heritage community”.
