"La Città che Hitler regalò agli Ebrei" by Michele Bongiorno's screening on 11 February concluded the Italian office of the Council of Europe initiatives on the occasion of Memorial Day 2021. Its screening was organised together with Associazione Figli Shoah di Venezia, the Venice Jewish Museum, CoopCulture and Circuito Cinema di Venezia.

This documentary, enriched by historical reconstructions, is a collection of survivors' testimonies of what happened in Terezín. Thousands died in this camp to which the International Red Cross paid an inconclusive inspection visit and where a Nazi propaganda film was shot.
