Portraits of nearly 100 victims of child abuse in Europe have been collected by photo-reporter Simone Padovani and are now on show in the exhibition "Shame-European stories".
This opened on 21 May 2022 at Emergency's Giudecca premises in the presence of Swiss entreprenuer Guido Fluri as part of his Foundation's "Justice Initiative", to fight child abuse in Europe.
Luisella Pavan-Woolfe, Director of the Italian office of the Council of Europe, spoke during the opening of the exhibition of the Council of Europe's commitment to protect children's rights and fight against their wrongful treatment.
