The Council of Europe Office in Venice will be coordinating, again this year, several heritage walks, which numerous associations organise throughout Italy to implement the Faro Convention values, promoting civil society’s democratic participation in cultural heritage.

The offer of heritage walks intensifies during European Heritage Days, which this year will take place on 25 and 26 September. European Heritage Days provide an occasion to celebrate Europe's cultural heritage. The 2021 edition’s scope is particularly broad and participatory: the designated theme, "Cultural Heritage: All Inclusive", is a call for everyone to embrace cultural heritage, including various age groups, ethnic and other minorities and people with disabilities.
