On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, on 30 July an art exhibition entitled "The Silk Road: Art and Contemporary Artists from Italy" will be held at the Museum and Centre of Fine Arts in Kiev. The exhibition, organised by the Italian Embassy in Ukraine and the Italian Cultural Institute in Kiev, in cooperation with the Garuzzo Institute of Fine Arts and Foundation For United Nations (FFUN SDG), will take place under the aegis of the Council of Europe Venice office.

The exhibition, curated by Angela Tecce, will stop along the ancient merchant routes which led to the remote lands of the East, in synthony with the project of a new European Silk Route that is being developed in Venice, with the support of the Italian office of the Council of Europe.
