The Faro Trasimeno heritage community formed the « Women of Faro » group with the aim of transmitting the value of heritage to future generations. As they all work in educational institutions, the « Women of Faro » will play an important role in the involvement, not only of the general public and young people, but above all of children and their families in local heritage appreciation and enhancement.

“Environment, heritage and quality of life will be decisive in making the Trasimeno area a source of opportunity for local development, environmental sustainability, appreciation of the past, reuse of industrial architecture and social and economic regeneration”, states Mariella Morbidelli, Coordinator of Faro Trasimeno heritage community.
