During the month of May, the 10th edition of the European Days returns to Venice with a series of events that promote environmental and economic sustainability.
The initiatives, organised by the City of Venice in collaboration with the Italian office of the Council of Europe and the Italian representations of the European Parliament and Commission, celebrate two important dates: the birth of the Council of Europe on 5 May 1949 with the Treaty of London and the European Union on 9 May 1950 with the signing of the Schuman Declaration. Among these events, there will be three CAFFÈ EUROPA: "Europe and the environment " on 5 May at 4 pm at Caffè Florian; “Europe and women” on 16 May at 4 pm at Venice Gardens Foundations; "The European challenges for the future" on 23 May at 4 pm at Caffè Lavena; and a Concert for Europe on 25 May at 5 pm at Benedetto Marcello Music Conservatory.
