By the letter dated 5 July 2018, the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr Mirza-Ulugbek Abdusalomov requested a joint opinion of the OSCE/ODIHR and the Venice Commission on the draft electoral code of Uzbekistan. The draft opinion was on the agenda of the October 2018 plenary session of the Venice Commission.
