Meeting on the non-accepted provisions of the European Social Charter by “The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia”

The meeting is organised by the Department of the European Social Charter of the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of “The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” in the framework of the procedure provided for by Article 22 of the European Social Charter on “non-accepted provisions” in order to exchange views with the national authorities on the Charter's provisions which have not yet been accepted by the country.

The meeting will be opened by Mila Carovska, Minister of Labour and Social Policy “The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” and by Monica Martinez, Head of Operations, Council of Europe Programme Office in Skopje. The Department of the European Social Charter will be represented by Elena Malagoni and Nino Chitashvili, lawyers.  

The European Committee of Social Rights will be represented by Barbara Kresal, member of the Committee and Lauri Leppik, former member and General Rapporteur of the Committee.

There will also be an exchange of views on the collective complaints procedure which “The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” has not accepted yet.
