The PC-OC held its 77th meeting

The PC-OC held its 77th meeting under the Chairmanship of Ms Barbara Goeth Flemmich (Austria).

The meeting marked the 60th anniversary of the European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters. This event enabled delegations to discuss ways to make mutual assistance in criminal matters better, faster and more adapted to today’s needs. Delegations agreed to a “New Start” in this area to be developed in the coming months.

Other important topics included discussions about various ways to interconnect judicial networks - in the context of the Action plan against Transnational Organised Crime - as well as a model request form for extradition and accompanying guidelines.
