The Centre of Expertise of Local Government Reform of the Council of Europe is supporting the Albanian Government’s New Programme “Administration We Want”. With the support of the Swiss government, the Centre adapted its tools to support multi-level governance and respond to the needs of central government authorities.

Following successful adaptation and implementation of Leadership Academy Programme (LAP) at local level in Albania, the Department of Public Administration and the Albanian School of Public Administration asked the Centre to devise a leadership training for about 110 top management corps (TMC) of the Albanian civil service. The first cycle of this LAP for TMC was launched in Tirana with Directors General and Deputy Ministers from across the public administration. A further 5 cycles of the training will be organised before the end of 2018.
