Head of the Council of Europe Office in Tirana, Olsi Dekovi, and François Friederich, Head of the Election Assistance Division of the Council of Europe, met today with the Chairman of the Albanian Central Election Commission (CEC), Klement Zguri, in Tirana.

The meeting focused on areas of common interest in the context of electoral assistance, focusing on strengthening the institutional capacities of the CEC in relation to electoral education and training, increasing public participation in elections and improving electoral administration processes, while looking forward to the local elections of 30 June 2019.
