European Commission on Efficiency of Justice training on time management and judicial statistics

An expert of the European Commission on Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) carried out three training activities in Tirana to continue to improve time management in Albanian courts and the collection and use of judicial statistics for this purpose notably. Court presidents, chancellors and judges participated in an on-job training over 2 days and a training of trainers, organised in cooperation with the School of Magistrates (SOM). As a result 8 Albanian judges will train their peers as part of the SOM continuous training programme.

These activities took place on 04-06 October 2017 under the SEJ II Action “Strengthening the efficiency and quality of the justice system in Albania”, which is part of the programme entitled "Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey", co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe, and implemented by the Council of Europe.
