Sessions “Let’s Learn about Human Rights Online” continue

The second session of “Let’s Learn about Human Rights Online” taught young people and educators about modern, creative and informal methods of human rights education.

The class was held on 4 June by Lado Apkhazava a finalist of the Global Teacher Prize and a winner of the National Teacher Award of Georgia. The topic of the second session was “Community Initiatives for a Diverse Environment” focusing on diversity, the implementation of various initiatives in communities living side-by-side with people from differing ethnic and religious backgrounds, stereotypes, stigma, prejudices and methods for encouraging the learning process.

Young people, teachers and anyone interested in education and human rights were able to attend the session.

The next sessions will cover topics such as practical educational steps and alternative narratives against hate speech.
