Sport Risks Assessment Pilot Project: Sport Radar is associated with the Group of Copenhagen’s works

The Network of National Platforms (the Group of Copenhagen) is completing the development of a sport risk assessment methodology developed for the National Platforms. Sportradar responded positively to the proposal of the Council of Europe Secretariat to join the pilot phase of the project to help specify the types of information relevant to the drafting of the evaluation reports, especially regarding national sports betting markets (see press release published by Sportradar).

The common reference to the Macolin Convention allows innovation with regard to cooperation between international actors engaged within the Macolin Community. The Group of Copenhagen was created in July 2016 by the Council of Europe. It aims to develop the National Platforms and to establish effective trans-national cooperation in the fight against manipulation of sports competitions.
