Following the cancellation of the physical meetings in Athens on 4-6 November, the 16th Council of Europe Conference of Ministers responsible for Sport will now be held via a virtual platform and separated into five sessions, spread out over a period of several weeks.
Thursday 5 November 2020 (a.m.) - Opening session
Thursday 5 November 2020 (p.m.) - Introduction to Theme 1 (A European approach to sport policies: the revision of the European Sports Charter)
Monday 7 December 2020 (a.m.) - Introduction to Theme 2 (Human Rights in Sport)
Friday 15 January 2021 (a.m.) - Ministerial Round Table (on Themes 1 and 2)
End January 2021 (exact date tbc) - Closing session
Separate online registration forms and remote connection links for each of the five sessions will be sent out in due course.
Please note that the Senior Officials meeting foreseen on 4 November, for the final approval of the draft resolutions, will now take place by written procedure.
