Estonia signs the Convention on Safety, Security and Service in Sport

On 14 October 2019, Ambassador Rasmus Lumi, Permanent Representative of Estonia, formally signed the Council of Europe Convention on an Integrated Approach to Safety, Security and Service at Football Matches and Other Sports Events (CETS No. 218), also known as the “Saint-Denis Convention”, at an official ceremony held in Strasbourg in the office of the Deputy Secretary General, Ms Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni.

Estonia is the 33rd State Party to sign this new Convention, which came into force on 1 November 2017.
