The 49th meeting of the Monitoring Group of the Anti-Doping Convention (T-DO) took place on 30-31 October 2018 at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Delegates participating from 52 States Parties to the Anti-Doping Convention and observers from 7 international organisations discussed the possible revision of the Anti-Doping Convention, adopted the revision of the annex of the Convention (2019 list of doping substances and methods), and held an exchange of views on the recent decision of the European Court of Human Rights on Pechstein/Mutu cases. They took note of the outcomes of the Conference of Ministers responsible for Sport (16 October, Tbilisi) and their impact on the T-DO’s work. The meeting also adopted reports on the implementation of the Anti-Doping Convention in Azerbaijan, Bulgaria and Lithuania and on the results of the 2017 online questionnaire on anti-doping policies in all States Parties to the Convention.
