CEB’s recent activities

The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) and Germany are intensifying their long-lasting partnership in the face of the migrant crisis by investing in the long-term integration of migrants through social housing. (read more)

The CEB also recently approved a € 160 million loan to the City of Malmö for the partial financing of investments aimed at ensuring access to high quality education, which plays an important role in the integration of migrants. Malmö is Sweden’s third largest city with 323,000 inhabitants, over one-third of whom were born abroad. (read more)

The CEB has likewise approved a € 60 million loan to the City of Tampere, Finland’s third largest city, in order to support municipality investments in public infrastructure. The programme aims to make tangible improvements to the living conditions of a large number of people in need, including migrants and refugees. (read more)
