On 11 April 2019, during the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), the report on “The situation of migrants and refugees on the Greek islands: more needs to be done” by Petra De Sutter (Belgium, SOC), will be debated.

On 26 March 2019, in Paris, the PACE Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons will hold an exchange of views with the SRSG on Migration and Refugees, Tomáš Boček, on his forthcoming report on Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. The Committee will also discuss the implications of Brexit for migration (rapporteur Killion Munyama, Poland, EPP) and the report of Christine Verdier-Jouclas (France, NR) on protection of climate refugees with the participation of experts. The PACE Committee is also preparing a report on pushback action by member states (rapporteur Tineke Strik, Netherlands, SOC).

On 22 March 2019, in Warsaw, Poland, the Parliamentary Network on Diaspora Policies will hold a regional meeting at the Sejm on the theme of Diasporas and Civil Society.
