Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland has arrived for a series of meetings in Ankara today. He is scheduled to meet President Erdoğan, Prime Minister Yıldırım, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu, Minister for European Affairs Çelik and representatives of opposition parties

He will also have a meeting with President of the Turkish Constitutional Court, Arslan.

Secretary General wishes to continue the dialogue with Turkish leaders on the current situation in the state of emergency following the failed coup d’état.
