Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland will be in Moscow on an official visit 19-20 October.

Meetings are planned with Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma; Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly; Serguei Lavrov, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tatiana Moskalkova, High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The main topic of discussion will be Russia’s current relations with the Council of Europe.
