The Study on ‘Responsible Artificial Intelligence’ explores multipronged impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on human rights, specifically investigating the intersection of AI and human rights through the broad lens of freedom of expression and media freedom. The Study consists of two main conceptual components, which explore 1) the power of the automated systems within the daily lives of people in the digital environment and 2) the impact of AI on freedom of expression and media freedom in regard to popular and global platforms, software, and applications, thus providing critical insight into AI’s current landscape and the challenges it poses on human rights.
