The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has made a voluntary contribution of €100,000 to reduce the European Court of Human Rights backlog of well-founded cases.

The agreement was signed on 8 February 2022 by Ambassador Patrick Engelberg, Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the Council of Europe and Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
