The Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Italy has made a voluntary contribution of €1 200 000 to support the European Court of Human Rights.
This contribution will enable the recruitment of Italian lawyers, covering the period 2022-2025, with the objective of reducing the backlog of pending applications.
 
Mr Roberto Chieppa, Secretary General of the Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers, met with Ms Marija Pejčinović Burić, Secretary General, on this occasion.
