The Government of Finland has made a voluntary contribution of €600,000 to support the Council of Europe Strategic Action Plan for Roma and Traveler Inclusion 2020-2025, the prevention of violence against women, human rights and equality for LGBTI persons, cooperation with representatives of Belarusian democratic forces and civil society, as well as to reduce the European Court of Human Rights backlog of well-founded cases.
 
The agreement was signed on 7 November 2024 by Ambassador Sini Paukkunen-Mykkänen, Permanent Representative of Finland to the Council of Europe, and Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
