For the first time since 2019, the Deputy Heads of Offices and Programme Offices of the Council of Europe met in person in Strasbourg for their annual meeting.

Opened by Claus Neukirch, new Director of the Directorate of Programme Co-ordination, the meeting included discussions on Council of Europe thematic areas including, anti-discrimination, diversity and inclusion, fight against economic crime, protection of Freedom of expression as well as the Implementation of the Istanbul Convention and other gender equality standards through cooperation sector projects.

The participants also exchanged views on other themes like strategic programming and resource mobilisation as well as communication.
