Czech Republic makes a voluntary contribution

The Government of the Czech Republic has made a non-earmarked voluntary contribution of CZK 900,000 (approximately €35,163) to support the Council of Europe’s Action Plan for Ukraine 2018-2022 and the Council of Europe’s Action Plan for Georgia 2020-2023.

These Action Plans aim to support Ukraine and Georgia in implementing the Council of Europe standards relating to human rights, democracy and the rule of law.

The agreements were signed on 8 July 2021 by Ambassador Emil Ruffer, Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the Council of Europe, and Mr Bjørn Berge, Deputy Secretary General.
