The government of the Republic of Cyprus has made a voluntary contribution of €20,000 to support the reduction of the European Court of Human Rights backlog of well-founded cases.

The agreement was signed on 3 October 2017 by Ambassador Spyros Attas, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Cyprus to the Council of Europe, and Mrs Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, Deputy Secretary General.
