Russia makes progress on corruption but more is needed, GRECO concludes

GRECO, the Council of Europe’s anti-corruption body, has called on Russia to make further progress in the next eighteen months to comply with its recommendations on preventing corruption by members of parliament, judges and prosecutors.

Its latest report welcomes Russia’s progress with nine of the Group’s twenty two recommendations from its 2017 report fully achieved and nine partly achieved, but says work is still needed to ensure full compliance with Council of Europe standards.
