Back Deputy Secretary General meets Irish President Higgins

Gabriella Battaini Dragoni met today Michael D. Higgins, President of Ireland.

The exchange of views focused on the recent security threats to European societies and on the actions to fight against terrorism.

The Deputy Secretary General underlined the relevance of the Convention on the Prevention on Terrorism.

The crisis in Ukraine and the importance of social rights in Europe were also part of the talks.
