International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women: Secretary General exchanges views with Italian Equal Opportunities and Family Minister Bonetti

On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Secretary General Marija Pejčinović Burić has exchanged views with the Italian Minister for Equal Opportunities and Family Elena Bonetti. The meeting focused on the fight against violence on women and domestic violence in the framework of the Istanbul Convention and on gender equality: priorities of the Italian Presidency of the Committee of Ministers.

Secretary General Pejčinović Burić and Minister Bonetti, together with the President of the Group of Experts on Action against Violence against Women and Domestic Violence (GREVIO) Iris Luarasi, will take part in a panel discussion (2.30-3.30 p.m. livestream), organised by the Gender Equality Commission, together with the Italian Presidency.
