The Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD) of the Organization of American States has just released the 7th round of national reports under the Multilateral Evaluation Mechanism (MEM).
Compared to previous rounds, the latest evaluation more widely covers the cross-cutting issues of human rights, gender, age, culture and social inclusion in accordance with the recommendations contained in the UNGASS 2016 Outcome Document and the Objectives of the United Nations 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development.
CICAD is a cooperation partner of the Pompidou Group. At the 2018 Executive Training focusing on evaluation CICAD provided a presentation on MEM underlining the benefits of this unique mechanism.
