On 10 May 2021, the Bulletin of the Administrative Court of Montenegro was presented to legal professionals at a public event that brought together the representatives of courts, academia, Ombudsperson’s Institution and National Agent before the Court in Strasbourg.

The participants highlighted the importance of enhancing the transparency in the work of courts and further harmonisation of the case law at the national level. Effective application of the EU acquis, as well as the standards developed by the European Court of Human Rights, is one of the priorities in the context of the EU integration process.

Therefore, the joint European Union and Council of Europe action on "Improved procedural safeguards in judicial proceedings in Montenegro, has supported the Administrative Court in developing the Bulletin that serves as a useful tool in the work of practitioners involved in administrative proceedings and administrative disputes. The Bulletin contains the most relevant case-law, thus providing the legal community with objective summaries of the issues and arguments pertinent to the work of the Administrative Court.

The action "Improved procedural safeguards in judicial proceedings in Montenegro" is a part of the joint EU and Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022”.
